The Dream Team: Two Women With a Vision
Emily Cho‘s founders are Emily Gellis, a former buyer for Intermix, and SJ Cho, an artist turned designer from South Korea. They joined forces in April 2010 to start the fashion label from scratch. Emily and SJ Cho built the brand, studying handbag designs inside and out, even cutting Chanel bags open. After traveling to Italy on the hunt for the right manufacturer to execute their vision, Emily and SJ discovered a family owned factory that has specialized in manufacturing handbag production for over sixty years. The perfect fit for this designer duo with a bold fashion statement.
Their love for fashion and handbags is not only what makes Emily Cho special. The designers seek to create luxurious collections at affordable prices, making it accessible to women of all ages.
