LUC BELAIRE x Ben Eine | Tradition Meets Urban Design

Rosé & Gold Wine | Luxurious Street Art Gift Set | Sold exclusively at Selfridges, London

Established in 1898, premium French wine brand Belaire still continues to oversee every stage of production for each bottle. Attention is paid to ensure that the perfect balance is achieved in each bottling of sparkling wine, maintaining the delicate refreshing blend, characteristic of the Belaire cuvées. This holiday season sees them updating their image, based on sophistication, with a little touch of urban pop and dazzle through a collaboration with world-renown street artist Ben Eine.

Ben Eine: the man who sprayed Selfridges.

Ben Eine: the man who sprayed Selfridges.

Based in London, Ben Eine is one of the most established names in the world of street art. His work can be seen throughout London, identified by his signature large colourful letters and words that adorn whole swathes of the city’s shop fronts and walls.  This is not the first collaboration Eine has done with a luxury brand. He has previously “sprayed” Selfridges, collaborating with the department on Louis Vuitton ‘s pop up store.

‘The journey I have had is insane.  I have moved on from sneaking out of the office to spray his name on Tube trains to working on a pop-up store at Selfridges. ” – Ben Eine

The artist hit the headlines when his piece 21st Century City was given as a gift by David Cameron to Barack Obama on his state visit to the USA in 2010. He has since expanded his craft to New York, Paris, Los Angeles, Tokyo.

“My work has its roots in urban art and street art, and has developed into a mainstream, contemporary and luxury arena. Luc Belaire as a contemporary, street-luxe brand is a reflection of this.” – Ben Eine

Luc Belaire x Ben Eine

The Luc Belaire and Eine collaboration see the street artist lending his distinctive spray-paint style to the 6th generation winemaker’s signature Rosé, Belaire Rosé and their elegant ‘blanc de blancs’, Belaire Brut with a special packaging. The specially designed backpack by Eine is crafted from soft stretchy neoprene. They feature Eine’s signature graphic style, applied to a large ‘B’ and ‘Belaire’, in either scarlet or gold, and contain two interior pockets, perfect for two Belaire bottles. While I enjoy both of Rosé and Brut, I have a personal preference for the Belaire Brut’s bottle design.

This luxurious and design orientated gift set arrives right on time for the holiday season! The backpack is available exclusively across Selfridges stores (London, Birmingham and Manchester) and internationally online at Go check out the brand @OfficialBelaire and the artist @einesigns on Instagram for some more festive and creative posts.
